With 17 participating locations across Western North Carolina, it’s easy to find a farmers market near you.
Look for a Market Manager or the information booth
Before you shop, go to the farmers market info booth and ask about Double Up Food Bucks. Market staff are ready to help you get started.
Get your EBT and Double Up tokens
Let the farmers market staff know how much you want to spend from your EBT Card at the market.
For every $1 you spend from your EBT Card, you will get $1 in Double Up Food Bucks.
Shop for food
Use your EBT Card tokens to buy any SNAP-eligible foods, including bread and meat, and your Double Up tokens to buy any fruits and vegetables grown in North Carolina. From apples to zucchini, an entire alphabet of produce is available to you.
